Some Frequently Asked Questions for customers considering a tow bar for their 2024 Highland Tesla Model 3;
CAN I INSTALL THE TOW BAR MYSELF?
Simply put yes you can.
If you have the confidence, tools and know how you certainly can install yourself and we are happy to ship Australia wide to facilitate this option.
In our new bar Highland (2024) and Model 3 (2020-23) design this will come with generic wiring loom that will enable the lighting features required by law but may not cover a warranty claim
We do have a team of suggested installers also across the country if you are not comfortable to go this path.

WILL THIS INSTALL VOID MY CARS WARRANTY?
I am not a legal expert, but I can provide some general information.
The impact of installing an aftermarket tow bar on your vehicle's warranty can vary depending on several factors, including the specific terms and conditions outlined in your warranty agreement and the laws and regulations in Australia.
CAN I CHOOSE MY OWN INSTALLER?
Yes, we can ship to you then you can choose your installer and to have a generic wiring loom or not depending on your towing needs. this wiring lom may not cover a warranty claim in the event that this arises.
DO YOU OFFER INSTALLING?
Yes we do do the install for you in Norhtern NSW and Up to central queensland however please appreciate that this is an option that comes at a cost because of the travele nad time involved.
All OEM installs have to be done via our installers as the car needs to be programmed with a computer to pair them in simple terms.
We can also point you in the right direction in nationwide and again appreciate with the new OEM Tow Mode enabled feature there is ongoing training with our prefered installers so this may not be available nationwide currently.

DO I NEED A WIRING LOOM?
A wiring loom is required only if you plan to tow a trailer or install lights on the towing object. ie a trailer, bike carrier with more than 2 bikes
We offer a plug and play wiring looms and so it is an easy process to add a 7 pin flat plug without cutting in to the existing wiring of your precious Model 3.
HOW MUCH CAN I TOW?
The new Tow Bar we offer on the Model 3 Tow Bar is rated to 1000kg towing weight and 100kg vertical weight.
The vertical weight is the weight of say a bike rack with the kids bikes on it.
The range achieved will suffer as the weight being towed being increased.
DOES MY BAR COME WITH A TOUGUE AND BALL INCLUDED?
The "no wiring option" does not come with tongue and ball as it is assumed that the car will only be used for carrying a bike carrier that is hitch mounted therefore there is no requirement for a tongue.
Configurations with wiring include a tongue and ball.
WHAT IS DELIVERY TIME IF I ORDER JUST THE TOW BAR?
Delivery time is 5-10 days Australia wide after leaving the manufacturing warehouse.
