We have this tow bar designed specifically for the two Model 3 vehicles built by one of South East Queensland premier tow bar suppliers and installers.

The TES115 wiring kit for the Model 3 2019-23 is plug and play does not require an auto electrician to install.
For the HIghland there is no available option to do the self install for the wiring although the bar can be self installed if wiring not required.
Model 3 Highland tow bar with wiring not a self install option. Must be installed by one of our team because of the complexity in installing because it requires a few modifications to the harness.

CAN I INSTALL THE TOW BAR MYSELF?
Simply put yes you can.
If you have the confidence, tools and know how you certainly can install yourself and we are happy to ship Australia wide to facilitate this option but we have suggested installers across Australia if you are not comfortable with this option.

WILL FITTING AN AFTERMARKET TOW BAR AFFECT MY CARS WARRANTY?
I am not a legal expert, but I can provide some general information. The impact of installing an aftermarket towbar on your vehicle's warranty can vary depending on several factors, including the specific terms and conditions outlined in your warranty agreement and the laws and regulations in Australia.
In Australia, the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) provides certain protections to consumers, including the right to have their vehicles serviced or repaired by a qualified and competent third party without voiding the warranty, as long as the repairs or modifications do not directly cause the issue being claimed under warranty.
However, it's important to note that the Australian Consumer Law does not specifically address the installation of aftermarket parts or modifications.
We take every precaution and all our bars have been Australian made certified which requires engineering certificates to get the Australian made tick and thjs is a very through process to go through. (which it should be)
It's worth noting that in some cases, manufacturers offer their own approved or recommended aftermarket parts and accessories, which may have their own guidelines and warranty coverage. If possible, you could consider using such approved parts to minimise potential warranty concerns. Ring Tesla directly if you have any issues to get peace of mind.
CAN I CHOOSE MY OWN INSTALLER?
Yes, we can ship to you then you can choose your installer and to have a wiring loom or not depending on your towing needs.
DO YOU OFFER INSTALLING?
Yes we do.
We are a Brisbane based business so we have our own team of installers and we offer installs in the South East region of QLD only.
It is approx a 2 hour process to install a tow bar depending if a wiring loom is required.
DO I NEED A WIRING LOOM?
A suitable wiring loom is required only if you plan to tow a trailer or install lights on the towing object. ie a trailer, bike carrier with more than 2 bikes
We offer a plug and play custom designed TES 104 wiring looms and so it is an easy process to add a plug without cutting in to the existing wiring of your precious Model 3.
HOW MUCH CAN I TOW?
The Model 3 tow bar is rated to 1000kg towing weight and 100kg vertical weight.
The vertical weight is the weight of say a bike rack with the kids bikes on it.
The range achieved will suffer as the weight being towed being increased.
Just like any ICE vehicle does.
HOW LONG IS WARRANTY?
Our tow bars come with a lifetime warranty.
